Graduation Checklist

Use this step-by-step checklist to keep track of all the things you need to do―from ordering regalia to confirming your participation in the upcoming in-person ceremony, this list has you covered.

Class of 2024 Graduation Checklist

  • Order your Cap & Gown - by March 23
    Get your official Lehigh Brown & White regalia.
  • Senior Portraits - by week of April 1
    Sign up for a portrait session now (last week of sittings has been updated to April 1 due to high demand) to be featured in Lehigh's official yearbook, the Epitome.
  • Apply for Graduation - by April 19
    Must complete to receive your Lehigh degree and participate in the ceremony.
  • RSVP for Commencement - by April 22
    To walk the stage and hear your name read, you will need to RSVP.
  • Pick Up Your Cap and Gown at Senior Salute Day - May 2
    Stop by Grace Hall to pick up your cap and gown during Senior Salute Day on May 2 from 9am-5pm. Alumni Relations in partnership with The Lehigh Store will be hosting a special day dedicated to all Seniors which includes, free food, photo booth, and more! If you happen to miss this event, you may stop by The Lehigh Store beginning May 4 to pick up your cap and gown duringbusiness hours.
  • Get Your GradPass - available starting the week of May 6
    You must have this with you when you check-in for your ceremony.
  • Complete the Commencement Photo registration form - by May 17  
    • If you plan to purchase your professional ceremony photos following graduation, make sure to complete the registration form to get your proofs sent to you directly. (Forms: Graduate Ceremony and Undergraduate Ceremony)
  • Walk the Stage in Goodman Stadium 

    • Graduate Students in-person ceremony - Saturday, May 18
    • Undergraduate Students in-person ceremony - Sunday, May 19
    Remember to arrive at 8:45 a.m., dressed in your regalia with your printed GradPass. In case of inclement weather, check out the severe weather page for ceremony details.
  • Order your Epitome Yearbook - by May 31
    This full-color, hardbound publication chronicles the year’s events and is a lifetime keepsake of this unique year.
  • First Destination Survey
    Take the Survey to update Lehigh on your plans for work, grad school, or if you are still making plans for what's next. The Center for Career and Professional Development is here to support you in your search and work with you to meet your career goals. Drop by Career Lab or make an appointment today!
