The Lehigh graduate program in physics aims to develop Ph.D. students with expertise in our current active research areas: Accelerator Physics, Astrophysics, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Biophysics, Computational Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, General Relativity and Cosmology, High-Energy Physics and String Theory, Nonlinear Optics and Photonics, and Statistical Physics.
The Ph.D. program includes a set of core courses providing a broad background in physics, along with specialized courses relevant to the research area of the student, and the research for the dissertation.
