Q: What is one thing you would want a prospective student to know about Lehigh?

A: One thing I want prospective students to know is that Lehigh has the most supportive community ever. There are so many opportunities that you won’t physically be able to take advantage of them all and every faculty member, professor, and peer will also provide so much support to see you succeed as an undergraduate and beyond Lehigh.

Q: What advice would you give to someone trying to strike a balance between excelling academically and getting involved in the Lehigh community?

A: Some advice I’d give to people about balance in academics and involvement is be open to always adapting. Every semester, the level of involvement I get in the Lehigh community varies depending on the amount of work I have. It’s ok to take some time for yourself if it’s a hard week academically and conversely, if you have light coursework, don’t be afraid to jump head into various activities.

Q: From Underwater Robotics to the Taylor Swift Club, Lehigh seems to give students the space to run with a variety of ideas. How has this environment encouraged you to explore interests that you might not have pursued elsewhere?

A: Lehigh has encouraged me to explore interests by working with what’s best for me. With the wide variety of options for the student-run clubs, it’s extremely easy to pursue multiple different things for either professional development, exploring passions, or making connections.

Q: As a member of the Marching 97 and Coordinator for the Music Appreciation House, you’ve proven you can build a life around what you love. How do you find the space for both a demanding major and a deep passion for music?

A: For balancing both an intense major and a passion for music, I’ve found that being proactive with my work helps me to prioritize my musical events. That way, I’m not falling behind and can have the stress reliever of being a musical performer.

Q: We’re a community of problem solvers—what is one specific challenge you’re passionate about contributing to solving?

A: One specific challenge I want to help solve is the inequality in healthcare, specifically in getting products into the hands of the impoverished. Being a material engineer, I want to try to create products in a less expensive way to distribute them to people who are in need.

Q: Where have you found support and mentorship at Lehigh? How has it shaped your experience so far?

A: I have found the best support through my friendships. The community is superb and everyone offers support whenever you need. Joining clubs has introduced me to many different people with a multitude of experiences and has helped push me to keep putting myself out there.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Lehigh?

A: My favorite thing about Lehigh is the perfect balance of a beautiful campus, a plethora of opportunities, and a multitude of support.

Q: If you had to sum up your Lehigh journey so far in three authentic-to-you words, what would they be?

A: To sum up my experience, I would say it’s been adventurous, challenging, and delightful

Q: Where is your study spot of choice on campus?

A: My study spot is Williams Hall.

Q: What is your favorite food spot, either on campus or in SouthSide Bethlehem?

A: My favorite food spot is Rakkii Ramen!
