Study trends in public health and how policies can improve population well-being.
Lehigh Epidemiology Minor equips students with the foundational knowledge and practical skills to understand and address the factors affecting population health. Ideal for those interested in public health, medical research, or healthcare policy, this minor provides an overview of the distribution and determinants of diseases and health conditions across populations.
While completing the minor, students will gain a strong understanding of epidemiological methods, research design, data analysis, and the social and environmental factors that influence health outcomes. The curriculum combines both theoretical knowledge and applied learning opportunities, preparing students to contribute meaningfully to health research, policy development, and community health improvement.
