Students in the Master's program in history at Lehigh are challenged with a broad and deep curriculum that can prepare them for careers either in academia or in non-academic settings, including government, nonprofit organizations, educational organizations or business.
The graduate program in history at Lehigh provides students with the opportunity to develop expertise in any number of areas, though current faculty strength focuses on 9th and 20th century US history; Latin American, Caribbean, African and Atlantic African-Diaspora history; British, French, and Spanish Atlantic World Empires; and African-American history.
