James R. Maida is the president and chief executive officer of Gaming Laboratories International, LLC, the preeminent testing laboratory worldwide for electronic gaming devices and systems in the gaming industry. In addition to serving on the Lehigh Board of Trustees, he is a member of the university’s leadership council and the computer science and engineering advisory council. He is a former member of the Monmouth Medical Center board of trustees and a current member of the Monmouth Medical Center South Campus Foundation. James earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering from Lehigh University in 1985 and a juris doctorate degree with high honors in taxation from Rutgers School of Law in 1990.
