In his first overseas trip as Lehigh president, Joseph J. Helble ’82 visited four Latin American countries to connect with alumni, students, families and international colleagues.

View some of the highlights of the trip, including at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, where Helble delivered the esteemed Chancellor’s Lecture; Galápagos tortoises on Santa Cruz Island, where Helble met with Lehigh Launch students; and the locks of the Panama Canal, where he received a behind-the-scenes tour from an alum.

The tour, from Nov. 30 to Dec. 7, also included stops in Bogotá, Colombia; Panama City, Panama; and Guatemala City, Guatemala.
