Lehigh Commencement 2023 Highlights

Lehigh University held its 155th Commencement this weekend, with separate ceremonies for graduate and undergraduate students.

On Saturday, May 20, Amy Weaver ’23P, president and chief financial officer at Salesforce and member of Lehigh’s Board of Trustees, delivered the keynote address at the graduate Commencement and Doctoral Hooding Ceremony. She encouraged graduates to embrace "kindness" as a quality of leadership.

On Sunday, May 21, CJ McCollum ’13, point guard for the National Basketball Association’s New Orleans Pelicans, entrepreneur and philanthropist, delivered the keynote address at the undergraduate Commencement Sunday, May 21, for the Class of 2023. He shared lessons learned on and off the basketball court in the decade since he graduated from Lehigh.
