Dear students,
President Trump announced this evening that all flights from Europe to the US will be suspended for 30 days, beginning Friday, March 13 at midnight. These restrictions will not apply to the UK.
I am writing this email to strongly recommend that you immediately make efforts to secure return flights to the US or to your home country before this ban takes effect on Friday. Please share your new return dates and flight info with me at sad416@lehigh.edu. We anticipate flight availability may quickly become limited.
If you are unable to secure flights, you should notify OISS and we will provide additional guidance.
We will follow up with specifics on academic planning, and for now we ask that you prioritize securing a return flight to the United States or to your home country if you are not a national of Europe.
