What do you enjoy most about teaching?

What I cherish most in teaching is the opportunity to unveil the stories behind texts composed centuries ago and to witness those moments when students, across the distance of time and space, respond with a knowing smile or are moved to tears.

Why did you choose Lehigh?

I was drawn to Lehigh because my colleagues’ research is both innovative and inspiring. I feel fortunate to be in an environment where collaboration comes so naturally—not only with fellow literary scholars and historians, but also with colleagues across other fields, opening up exciting interdisciplinary possibilities.
