What are your research interests?

Quantum control, many-body quantum physics, laser cooling, quantum thermodynamics, floquet engineering, non-equilibrium physics, degenerate fermi gases, Bose Einstein condensates

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

I am excited at being a small part of the education for the next generation of scientists and engineers who will improve our world. Teaching also motivates me to improve my own understanding. I also am regularly reminded of the awesome concepts in my field when I see the induced awe in my students.

Why did you choose Lehigh?

The department here is very warm and I enjoy my colleagues here. The Lehigh Valley is also gorgeous place to be when I am not in the lab.
