The classroom becomes a shared space of discovery, not just delivery of information. When learning feels meaningful, it lasts far beyond the course. Why did you choose Lehigh?Where to start? There are so many reasons! Above all, it’s the people. Every interaction I had revealed a collegial, thoughtful community where I can both contribute and grow. I was also drawn to Lehigh’s emphasis on interdisciplinary thinking and real-world impact, which aligns closely with how I like to approach my work. I also appreciate the balance Lehigh strikes: there’s a strong commitment to rigorous intellectual work alongside a deep investment in undergraduate education. In short, Lehigh is a place where I can do meaningful research and still stay closely connected to students and the community. And on a lighter note—having grown up in Buffalo—I’m actually looking forward to the snow!
