Dear Undergraduate and Graduate Students,
We write as we witness a tragic loss of life following the terrorist attacks on Israel and Israel's subsequent declaration of war on Hamas. Our thoughts are with the millions of those directly impacted. While no Lehigh students are currently studying abroad in Israel, we have a small number of students and scholars from the region, as well as alumni, and we know that many more members of our community have personal connections to this part of the world.
Lehigh is home to a diverse community of students, staff and scholars from throughout the world, and we understand that events such as these may impact people in personal and sometimes unanticipated ways. In this difficult moment, it is important that we come together in support of one another.
For any members of our community experiencing stress and anxiety as a result of the ongoing conflict, please know that there are a range of resources available to help and support you:

International Students can contact the Office of International Students and Scholars at (610) 758-4859 or intnl@lehigh.edu. You can also schedule an appointment with an advisor in iHome (under General Services).

The International Student Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to students who are experiencing unexpected expenses.

University Counseling and Psychological Services (UCPS) offers individual and group sessions, workshops, and crisis support. Contact at 610-758-3880. Students can use the after-hours Counseling Service by calling 610-758-3880 and pressing 0.

Undergraduate and graduate students also may speak with a licensed clinical professional through TELUS Health Student Support, which is available remotely 24/7 in multiple languages.
