Ongoing violence in Israel-Hamas war

A message sent to Lehigh undergraduate and graduate students.

Dear Undergraduate and Graduate Students,

We write as we witness a tragic loss of life following the terrorist attacks on Israel and Israel's subsequent declaration of war on Hamas. Our thoughts are with the millions of those directly impacted. While no Lehigh students are currently studying abroad in Israel, we have a small number of students and scholars from the region, as well as alumni, and we know that many more members of our community have personal connections to this part of the world.

Lehigh is home to a diverse community of students, staff and scholars from throughout the world, and we understand that events such as these may impact people in personal and sometimes unanticipated ways. In this difficult moment, it is important that we come together in support of one another.

For any members of our community experiencing stress and anxiety as a result of the ongoing conflict, please know that there are a range of resources available to help and support you:
