Lehigh continues to climb up the rankings on Poets&Quants Top Online MBA Programs in 2020. Up one spot from 2019, Lehigh ranks No. 4 out of top 35 ranked programs in the country. This is Lehigh’s third straight year named in the top 10 for online MBA program delivery.
In Poets & Quants annual ranking of online MBA programs, schools and recent graduates from the past two years were surveyed to form the ranking of top online MBA programs. Rankings were based on three key aspects: the quality of incoming students, the academic and extracurricular experience rated by recent graduates, and the professional and career outcomes of students.
Graduates surveyed answered questions regarding consulting projects and global immersions and whether their career goals were met for entering the program. Weighted at 15% of the Career Outcomes section was the percentage of students who received a salary raise or promotion as a result of the program.
“The MBA from Lehigh ultimately led to a promotion,” said Kerry Mickley MBA ’19, director, Industrial Power Units & Manifolds, North America, Bosch Rexroth. He went on to say, “Lehigh’s Classroom LIVE technology was pretty unique. Half the class was present, half the class was remote. I was really shocked how interactive it was. You can see and hear everyone and they can see and hear you just as if we were all in the classroom together. If you have questions, it’s easy to communicate and interrupt. I was really shocked how fluid it was.”
The Lehigh FLEX MBA Program is designed for working professionals and can be completed on campus or online. The program is flexible when compared to traditional on-campus-only MBA programs because students can seamlessly attend classes either on campus or online, at any time throughout the program.
The Lehigh FLEX MBA courses are offered through the university's live, online platform Classroom LIVE. The integrated, web-based learning environment delivers programs in real-time from classrooms on Lehigh’s campus synchronously to students in their homes, offices or hotel rooms when traveling. Students interact live with professors and other students during the class as it’s actually taking place on campus.
"I was pleasantly surprised by how integrated the online learning environment was with Classroom LIVE. We even did live breakout sessions during class, which paired online students with students present in the classroom, and we always had thought-provoking discussions and output," said Piaget Francois Shouldice MBA ’19, regulatory affairs senior specialist, Merck & Co.
