Lehigh Ranked Among Nation’s Top National Universities

The university has again been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation’s outstanding national universities.

In its just-released 2022-2023 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings, Lehigh ranks No. 51 among 440 institutions across the United States that offer undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees.

Among national universities, Lehigh is ranked No. 24 in the nation in the “best value” category and No. 26 in “undergraduate teaching.” 

The U.S. News overall ranking takes into account a number of factors that include graduation and retention rates, class size, SAT scores, student excellence, academic reputation and alumni giving.

As part of the overall rankings, Lehigh was also named:

  • No. 45 in Undergraduate Engineering Programs among National Universities 
  • No. 73 in Undergraduate Business Programs 
  • No. 94 in Undergraduate Computer Science Programs
