The Rossin College’s online master’s degree programs moved up to No. 42 in U.S. News & World Report’s recently released 2022 Best Online Graduate Engineering Programs list.
For its 2022 list, U.S. News & World Report ranked the online graduate engineering programs offered by more than 100 schools using five categories: engagement, expert opinion, faculty credentials and training, student excellence, and student services and technologies.
“Highly ranked programs,” according to U.S. News & World Report, “have strong traditional academic foundations based on the excellence of entering students, graduation rates and instructor credentials. They also excel at educating distance learners while offering robust career and financial support.”
The Rossin College’s online graduate engineering programs broke into the U.S. News & World Report top 50 in 2020 at No. 48 and took the No. 46 spot in 2021.
“Rankings like these are but one measure of an academic program’s overall strength,” says Sabrina Jedlicka, the Rossin College’s associate dean for academic affairs. “The consistent improvement to this ranking over the past few years reflects our faculty’s efforts in developing industry-sensitive master’s programs that create value for students and employers alike. We are steadily enhancing our ability to deliver that value online, leveraging our strengths in key sectors of engineering.”
