Dear Alumni and Friends,
Today marks my official return to South Mountain and our alma mater. I am personally grateful for the warm “welcome back” I have received from so many alumni, and I thank you for your continued connection to the university. Our alumni community is one of Lehigh's greatest assets, and I am proud to be a part of it.
As I begin my work, I look forward to getting to know today’s Lehigh and the people like you who help make it special. My education here changed me, and I am eager to hear what made your own experience on South Mountain important to you. There will be many opportunities for us to connect in the weeks and months to come, including events in several different parts of the country, on campus, and at Founder’s Weekend and the inauguration festivities in October.
I look forward to meeting you soon and to hearing your thoughts on the future of our great university.
