Dear Students,
We are excited to welcome you to campus this August for the Fall 2021 semester. As the summer progresses, we know that you wish to make travel arrangements in preparation for your arrival on campus. To assist you with your planning, we are happy to share the basic timeline for the move-in process.
First-Year Student Move-In
First-Year Student Move-In will take place from Monday, August 16, through Thursday, August 19. Students will be able to select a move-in date and time on their Housing and Dining Self-Service page starting in mid July, after housing assignments are announced. At this time, we anticipate family or guests being permitted to assist with move-in. More detailed information regarding the move-in process will be sent in early July.
Upper-Class Student Move-In
Upper-class student move-in for both residence halls and Greek chapter houses will take place from Thursday, August 19, through Sunday, August 22. Students will be able to select a move-in date and time on their Housing and Dining Self-Service page starting in July.
Early Arrival Groups
If you are a member of a group that is scheduled to arrive earlier than the designated move-in dates listed above (e.g., member of an athletic team, ROTC, Marching 97, Orientation Leader, PreLUsion participant or another designation), your coach or advisor will make those arrangements and you do not need to sign up for a check-in time. You will receive a confirmation of your arrival date/time in early August.
Please note that we can not accommodate any early arrivals that are not part of a University- sponsored early arrival group before Monday, August 16. More information will be forthcoming about the specific logistics of the move-in process as well as the timing of the opening of the check-in time slot selection in your Housing and Dining Self-Service Page.
