11.2.20: Registration information

A message to students from RAS

Registration for Winter and Spring 2021 begins the week of November 16, 2020. You will be able to view and browse the schedule of classes beginning on November 9. We encourage you to review the process now, and begin to plan your course schedule, to ensure your registration goes as smoothly as possible. Please review all steps noted below to ensure you are prepared for a successful registration experience.

  1. Complete the Pre-Registration Survey! Registration is prohibited until the survey is completed (current employees [excluding work study students] and distance education students may skip this step). If you need help, check out our online instructions. A hold will be placed on your record if this survey is not completed by November 13, 2020. The hold will be automatically removed upon completion of the survey.

  2. Contact your advisor to review course selections/needs for the coming term. Obtain your alternate PIN from your advisor – you cannot register without it and your advisor is the only one who can provide it. If you are unable to contact your advisor, check with your Associate Dean’s office. Registration & Academic Services staff cannot provide your alternate PIN.

  3. Search for courses, review the registration dates (to avoid late fees), check out our FAQs, and watch our instructional videos. Consider checking the catalog or a department’s website to learn more about your course selections. Be sure to have any registration overrides you need issued PRIOR to registering for classes.

  4. Check your registration status and times. (Select Prepare for Registration)

  5. Review your FERPA Rights and Privacy information.

  6. When registering for variable credit courses, be sure to adjust your credits as needed.

Please note: Courses currently in-progress will satisfy prerequisites for registration purposes. Failure to successfully complete a prerequisite course with a C- or higher may result in you being dropped from the next-level course (approximately two weeks prior to the start of the semester).

We suggest that you continue to monitor your Lehigh University email account regularly for updates. If you have any questions, please email us at ras@lehigh.edu or reach out via live chat (M-F 9:00AM-4:00PM EDT).

Sincerely,

Registration & Academic Services Team
