Dear Lehigh graduate students, faculty, and staff,
Lehigh’s Libraries will reopen to the campus community on Monday, October 26th. Faculty, graduate students, and staff are no longer required to request special permission to enter the libraries. Some reasons why you may be denied access include:
- you have not completed the daily HawkWatch self-assessment
- your HawkWatch self-assessment has not yet been processed (best to complete it an hour before you want to enter the library)
- you have a building access hold from the Health and Wellness Center
- you have not completed the return-to-campus training
Mandatory Mask-wearing
Anyone seen in the libraries not wearing a mask that covers their mouth and nose will be asked to leave the building immediately. You may lower or remove your mask momentarily while taking a quick drink but you must put your mask back into place immediately. Eating is permitted only in The Grind cafe.
Gift card giveaways!
We recognize that most students are complying with mask wearing and we thank you. Keep it up and you may be randomly selected for a gift card to The Grind or The Cup.
Entering the Libraries
Enter the libraries only through the main entrances. You may now be asked to swipe-in twice, first at the front door and again once you are inside the building.
Masks are required at all times in the libraries, including in enclosed study spaces. Masks must cover your mouth and your nose. You may lower or remove your mask momentarily while taking a quick drink but you must put your mask back into place immediately. Eating is permitted only in The Grind cafe.
