One of 169 women who were part of Lehigh’s first coed class 50 years ago, Karen L. Stuckey ’75 later served as a trustee and the first woman president of the Lehigh University Alumni Association Board of Directors.

In observance of Veterans Day, Lehigh treated active, reserve and retired members of the military services to lunch Thursday in the Clayton University Center.

The first woman director of libraries at Lehigh died in July at age 90.

Six alumni from across the country are recognized for exceptional achievements in categories that uplift people, programs and industry.

The center will mark the anniversary with a ‘Walk Down Memory Lane’ on Sept. 22 and Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. to noon.
