This is more like it!

This time last year, it was warm and sunny at Lehigh, and I couldn't have been less in the mood for the holiday season. Today, South Mountain has a thin, white blanket of snow with more coming down, and it feels like a Lehigh winter has finally arrived. Happy holidays! Wherever you are, I hope the spirit of the season has caught up with you.
I know that some of you finished your holiday shopping a month ago, and that's very nice for you. But if you're like me, you will need every day of the now under two shopping weeks left. As I know you know, networking is an indispensable tool in your career-building plan, and CNRs have helped many an alumnus make the connection that led to their next great job. You don’t have to be on the job market to go to a CNR, though. (You don't wait for rain before you buy an umbrella, do you?)
If nothing else, lend a hand to current Lehigh students and your fellow alumni by sharing your expertise, and helping alumni in your area make connections and expand their professional networks. Think of it as career karma—and a great way to start the new year.
