The Rivalry is back.
Lehigh and Lafayette will resume their historic rivalry series—the most played rivalry in all of college football—when they meet for the 151st time this Saturday at Goodman Stadium. And as always, the Lehigh community will celebrate the buildup to the game with its annual slate of Spirit Week events, from the Marching 97s tour through campus to the ever-entertaining Bed Races and more.
The Mountain Hawks will bring a 5-5 record into the game, including a 3-2 Patriot League mark, while struggling Lafayette will come in at 1-9, with an 0-5 league record. Coach Andy Coen’s team will be looking to avenge last year’s 27-7 loss—one that was suffered in a historic 150th edition of The Rivalry, played at New York’s Yankee Stadium. With that win, Lafayette extended their all-time advantage in the series to 78-67-5.
Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, with television coverage to be provided by WFMZ-TV, the Patriot League Network, MASN1 and ESPN College Sports Extra. Coverage will also be provided by ESPN Radio 1230 and 1320 starting at 11:30.
