Startup Academy Celebrates its Second Graduating Class

Startup Academy Showcased on Nasdaq Tower in Times Square

The 2019 graduating class of the Startup Academy helped close the Nasdaq Market on Aug. 6 during a closing bell ceremony at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center in San Francisco, with celebrity bell ringer actor Macaulay Culkin and his Bunny Ears co-founder, Stewart Miller. (Bunny Ears is a new satirical publishing platform.)

During the ceremony, the Startup Academy students and companies were featured on the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square.

The celebration continued later that Tuesday evening with a graduation ceremony and presentations by the student interns at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center. The event was attended by the Startup Academy companies, mentors and Bay Area Lehigh alumni and friends.

The Startup Academy is a collaboration between the college and the Lehigh@NasdaqCenter (see pg. 4).
