What To Do When Your Top College Choice Says “No”

Lehigh University was mentioned in an article about what students do after their top college choice turns them down. Rob Stearns, who has studied loss, defeat and recovery, and has experienced some in his personal and professional life, urges students and their parents to consider: “What is the win, and what is the loss? What is it you were really applying for? I don't believe there is a statistical correlation between happiness and productivity and whether you go to Harvard, Yale or Lehigh.”

New Zoellner Season Full of Color and Stars

Lehigh University will showcase its choral and instrumental teachers and students in numerous concerts, including a 50th anniversary program April 2, 2005 by the Lehigh University Choral Arts, directed in its first 25 years by Robert Cutler and the last 25 by Steven Sametz. The Choral Arts perform again April 30 in a semi-staged version of ''St. Matthew's Passion'' with The Princeton Singers. Other highlights include Cyndi Lauper, Rufus Wainright, The Capital Steps, and The Dance Theatre of Harlem.
