Celebrating Pride, Progress

Girl Scouts from the Great Valley Council will attend the Lehigh women's basketball game on Feb. 14 against American University at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Pa. T-shirts will be distributed, and the Lehigh women will meet with the girls. Various basketball drills and activities are also scheduled. Over 200 girls are coming in, said Kelly Berk, a Lehigh forward who attended Archbishop Carroll High. Olson also points out that no role was assigned to the first lady by the Constitution, but even from the beginning, there were expectations that she have a social role.
