ISG Positioned to Become Steel Industry’s Savior
Mary Beth Deily, an associate professor of economics at Lehigh University, commented in an article about International Steel Group. In business for just two years, ISG has catapulted to the top of the industry by buying bankrupt steel makers at bargain prices. ''ISG has been pretty successful, more successful than any time in the past,'' said Deily, who follows the steel industry. ISG has succeeded at ''dealing with the union and getting everybody on board and moving ahead and getting the workers to kind of buy into what sacrifices they have to make to keep this capacity running.

Dr. Benjamin G. Wright, professor of religion studies at Lehigh University, will be giving a series of five lenten lectures/discussions at Midway Manor Moravian Church. The series, entitled ''Jesus and Those Who Wrote About Him'' will run Sunday evenings through Lent. A Biblical scholar of international repute, Dr. Wright specializes in Early Christianity and Second Temple Judaism.

Stephen Wohlrab has joined Zoellner Arts Center, Lehigh University, as assistant audio coordinator. Previously employed by The College of New Jersey, Trenton, and Mercer County Community College, West Windsor, N.J., as an audio and sound technology teacher, he is a recording engineer and wrote the books ''Fretboard Basics for Guitar'' and ''Anthology of Jazz Guitar Solos.'' He earned a bachelor's degree from Berklee College of Music, Boston, Mass., and a master's degree in music from the University of Miami.

Valleydawgs Will Move into Liberty High
Even though Lehigh University’s Stabler Arena seats more, the Pennsylvania Valleydawgs will make Liberty High School their home for the 2004 season. The professional basketball team, which played at Stabler Arena last season, will play 15 home games April 25-June 20 at Liberty.
