Staff of Lehigh's Brown and White Featured on Journalists' Roundtable
The staff of the Brown and White was featured on PCN's hour-long program where they sat down with PCN Vice President of Programming William J. Bova to discuss how current issues influence the lives of the Lehigh student body as well as all Pennsylvanians. The program aired on Thursday, December 4 and Sunday, December 7. PCN's Journalists' roundtable is a regular program of rotating panel members that gather to bring their candid perspectives on issues facing PA residents.

Lehigh a Crucial Link in the Supply Chain for Agere
Lehigh University has helped Agere put a demand forecasting system in place that is reducing excess inventory and boosting the number of times each year the company completely sells out its stock. Agere's move to such a production model makes the use of demand forecasting models essential, said David Wu, chairman of Lehigh's Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering who directed the team of students that performed the research for the statistical models. ''If you have in-house production, you could have capacity anytime you wanted,'' Wu said. ''When you outsource production, you are in competition with everyone else who also wants capacity.''

Mountain Hawks Double Trouble in Sheridan Duals
The Lehigh Mountain Hawk's wrestling team (6-1) completed the brutal first leg of its schedule Saturday by sweeping the 19th Sheridan Duals with wins over American University and Rider before a sparse crowd of 861 fans who braved the elements at Stabler Arena.
