Lehigh University’s Linderman Library was captured in a photo showing students studying for their final exam. It stated that Lehigh’s expansive library, built in 1877, is used by students throughout the Lehigh Valley.

Camerata and PA Sinfonia Celebrate English Choral Works
The Young People's Philharmonic of the Lehigh Valley is the only full-sized orchestral youth ensemble in the region. On Sunday at Zoellner Arts Center, under the direction of Jerry Bidlack, the 86-piece group will present an ambitious program that includes Carl Maria von Weber's Oberon overture, the fourth movement of Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4, the imaginative ''A Night on Bald Mountain'' by Mussorgsky, the charming overture to ''Hansel and Gretel'' by Humperdinck, and Leroy Anderson's ''A Christmas Festival.''

Lehigh’s Bergen an All-American
Lehigh University tight end Adam Bergen was named to the Associated Press I-AA All-America second team on Wednesday. The junior from Seaford, N.Y., led Lehigh and ranked third in the Patriot League with 70 receptions for 840 yards. He also caught six touchdown passes. Bergen, a first-team all-Patriot League pick, also has been selected to The Sports Network all-America team.

Lehigh University was mentioned in an article regarding a high school football player who made first team and is considering Lehigh. Joe Anastasio said he has Ivy League options available -- Ivy League schools do not offer athletic scholarships -- and there are other schools still in the hunt, including Lehigh University, where his father, Paul, played football.
