Philip Kent '76

Philip Kent ’76, chairman and CEO of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., will address Lehigh University’s CEO Diversity Forum on October 18. The event is slated for 4:10 p.m. at Perella Auditorium in the Rauch Business Center.
Kent’s presentation is free and open to the public, and is being co-sponsored by the College of Business and Economics and the University Diversity Leadership Committee.

They’re all familiar terrain for Kent, who oversees the one of the world’s largest producers of both news and entertainment. TBS, Inc. is home to CNN, TNT, Cartoon Network, and other specialized networks, as well as the Atlanta Braves, nascar.com and pga.com.
“Phil is in a unique position to discuss how diverse management can have a terrific impact on a company’s performance and operations,” said Tom Hyclak, interim dean at the College of Business and Economics and a member of the Student Diversity Taskforce.
Reservations are not required for the event. For more information, contact the dean’s office at the College of Business and Economics at (610) 758-3400.
