Palette….Brunch with the Arts at Lehigh

Eat a croissant, listen to the Philharmonic, watch a scene from Macbeth, see the Rodin bronzes in the gallery...the possibilities are endless at Palette, a festive open house and brunch to be held on Sunday, April 21 at Zoellner Arts Center.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., patrons can pick and choose from a diverse menu of music, theatre and the visual arts, presented by Lehigh students, faculty and staff. From performance vignettes to design displays and gallery exhibitions, the selections provide guests with a true sampling of the arts, while showcasing the creativity, passion and skill that is flourishing here at Lehigh.
Palette coincides with Zoellner’s five-year anniversary and celebrates the Center’s growth and success.
Six years ago--before Zoellner--I don’t think we could have imagined a day when the performing and visual arts were clustered under one roof, says Liz Scofield, managing director of the Zoellner Arts Center. We couldn't have imagined such a plethora of art to display and perform that we would need to overlap and stagger activities, or when our exhibits and performances were of such quality that we'd have an eager response from the community to support them at Lehigh.
Proceeds from Palette will support future artistic and educational programs. Tickets for the benefit are $45 per person for Lehigh University alumni, faculty/staff, and parents; $60 per person for community members; and $15 per person for students (age 12 and older).
