Lehigh's Risk Management Team Receives Highest Tier Award From PMA
Less than three percent of PMA clients receive this award annually.
Lehigh University has qualified for PMA's highest-tiered award, the Risk Management Leadership Award, a distinction earned by less than three percent of PMA's clients annually.
The leadership award has rigorous qualification criteria including being a recipient of the PMA Risk Management Excellence Award in the past and obtaining workers compensation frequency rate improvement over a minimum of a three-year time frame.
The award was presented to Kim Nimmo, director of risk management, and Lynn Takacs, risk management analyst, at this year's University Risk Management and Insurance Association annual conference in Baltimore. The engraved award reads: "PMA Companies commends Lehigh University for their strong organizational commitment to employee safety resulting in overall Total WC Claim Frequency Rate and Lost Time Frequency Rate reductions between the 2018 and 2022 policy years."
