Lehigh’s graduate engineering, education and MBA programs highly ranked

Graduate programs in Lehigh’s P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science, the College of Education, and the College of Business and Economics were highly ranked among the nation’s schools in the recently released 2017 U.S. News and World Report Graduate School Rankings.

Lehigh’s engineering college was ranked 51st out of 194 eligible to be included in the annual rankings. Last year, it ranked 49th among 195 engineering colleges.

The College of Education was ranked 49th out of 255 education colleges. In the 2016 rankings, the college was ranked 46th among 246 education colleges.

Lehigh’s part-time MBA program was ranked 48th out of 296 graduate business schools. Last year, it was ranked 64th among 282 graduate schools.

The rankings will appear in U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Graduate Schools 2017” guidebook, which is posted online today and will appear in print in late March.

Earlier in 2016, U.S. News and World Report ranked Lehigh’s online MBA program 8th among 228 master’s programs that deliver all required course work via distance education courses. Schools were ranked on criteria that included faculty credentials and training, peer reputation, student selectivity, student engagement, and student services and technology.

In that same ranking guide, Lehigh’s P.C. Rossin’s College of Engineering and Applied Science was ranked 49th among 82 schools for online engineering programs.
