Lehigh to host presidential search town halls

A series of town halls will begin next week to offer members of the campus community an opportunity to articulate goals and aspirations for Lehigh’s next president, as well as leadership opportunities and challenges.

The town halls will be organized around student, faculty and staff groups, although any member of the campus community is welcome to attend any of the scheduled meetings.

Leading the discussions will be representatives from Isaacson Miller, the firm that is assisting the Presidential Search Committee on selecting the 14th president of the university. In early January, Lehigh’s 13th president, Alice P. Gast, announced her intention to accept a position at Imperial College in London in mid-2014.

Anyone who is unable to attend and would like to submit comments or make nominations may do so at the Presidential Search website at www.lehigh.edu/presidentialsearch.
