Lehigh pride

I can’t help but be impressed with the richness of our university and our fellow alumni as I read this month’s edition of the Lehigh Alumni Connection.
From honorable service in the harshest of environments to cutting-edge technology in the most delicate … from the physical strength and endurance of our athletes to the towering faith in our academic programs leading to multi-million dollar gifts … there is so much to be proud of!
Of course, the first-rate status of Lehigh among other colleges and universities has not come without commitment and hard work. The students, faculty, staff, friends, and alumni have all contributed over the decades to live out the vision set by those who came before us.
It sure has been worth the effort, don’t you agree?
What are you committed to this year? Local participation in helping to organize an event for alumni or prospective students is a great way to keep connected. Or maybe you’ll make your way to one of the Lehigh athletic events, in person or via broadcast, watching with other Lehigh fans. Even if your connection this year is accomplished with a generous gift, you’ve made a significant contribution to continuing the excellence that keeps Lehigh in the academic, athletic, and research spotlight.
So as you read over this month’s e-newsletter, think about how you’ll be participating this month and in the months to come. Let’s keep the Lehigh banner flying high—today, tomorrow and in the years to come.
