Lehigh engineering grads rank in top 10 nationally for earning potential

The median starting salary of $57,400 for Lehigh engineering graduates bests many of the nation’s finest schools.
The mid-career standing of Lehigh engineering alumni is even more impressive. According to the Payscale College Salary Report, Lehigh mid-career engineering alumni—defined as graduates with 15 years of work experience—earn $114,000. That figure places the university in a tie for seventh nationally with Polytechnic Institute of New York University.
The $114,000 median salary places Lehigh ahead of such highly regarded peer institutions as Carnegie Mellon ($113,000), the University of California-Berkeley ($112,000), Cornell ($106,000) and Georgia Tech ($105,000).
