Our launch of The Campaign for Lehigh is quickly approaching. As you can imagine, having such a large event in the midst of campus will affect the daily life of the university. Whether you are planning to attend or not, here’s what you need to know about how the event will impact campus:
Staging
The main stage will be set up around the flagpole on the University Center lawn. Construction will begin Sunday, October 21. Please adhere to safety signage and barriers while the stage is constructed.
Event Fencing and Access
A fenced perimeter will be constructed that encompasses the four surrounding buildings around the University Center lawn (Linderman Library, Packer Church, Packard Lab, and the University Center). The fence will be set up on Monday, October 22; gates will be installed over all roadways and will remain open from Monday to Wednesday to allow for normal pedestrian access.
All gates will be closed and locked at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 25. At this time, the entire fenced in area will be inaccessible. Please plan alternate routes across campus.
During the event, only those who have registered will be allowed within the perimeter. Re-entry is not permitted.
