Your Alumni Association’s goal is to keep you connected, engaged and involved. As overachievers, we spend time every day thinking about how to give you all the tools you need to stay informed and actively participating in events on and off campus. We took another leap into cyberspace with the launch of
our new Web site on July 22. It has a fresh look, great i If you have not had a chance, please check it out. A sampling of our services includes an online directory, job search database, event information with online registration, and Web seminars on career development. Features “in the works” include career seminars via podcast, instant messenger office hours with our dedicated career counselor, Lori Kennedy '93G, online Class Notes, a comprehensive travel Web site, and
finally … online payment for events!
The Alumni Association is all ears and we take the comments and suggestions of our active alumni very seriously. We appreciate your help in evaluating our current online services and offering opinions about what you would like to see in the future. Think big and don’t hold back! This is your opportunity to be heard and influence the direction of the Lehigh Web site.

| Alumni take part in a focus group at Lehigh's Financial Services Lab. |
We already received some feedback when we invited a small group of local alumni to join us for a focus group on Sept. 14 in the Financial Services Lab in the Rauch Business Center. While munching on hors d’oeuvres, this opinionated and energetic group (covering class years from 1943 to 2005) gave Steve Rittler ’99, director of technology, some insightful feedback. Who says we can’t work and have some fun at the same time?
Finally, please mark your calendars for Alumni Weekend on October 14-15. You can check out the
Web site for details on Young Alumni Reunion,
Senior Alumni Weekend, or the
Tweener Tailgate (for alumni who are between “senior” and “young”… like me!?!).
I’ll leave it to you to figure out under which age category you fall! We’re hoping for a beautiful fall weekend and a football team victory over Ivy League rival Yale.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Chris Marshall ‘88 Alumni Director
