Greeks raise awareness and funds
Phi Gamma Delta Golf Outing
The brothers of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) raised $1,200 through a golf tournament fundraiser. Sixteen members of various Lehigh fraternities and sororities braved the elements at the Whitetail Golf Club (Bath, PA) in October to help raise money for the American Red Cross. The cost was $250 per foursome and included a chance to win four tickets to a New York Knicks game and a $200 gift certificate to Kean’s Steakhouse. Kappa Sigma’s team won the tournament and four free rounds of golf at Whitetail.
Sigma Chi fraternity and Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII) sorority See Saw Marathon
Members of Sigma Chi and AOII fought rain and exhaustion to see saw for 50 hours straight in October to raise money for the Juvenile Arthritis Foundation and the Children’s Miracle Network. See sawing members received donations and support from fellow Greeks; Lehigh students, faculty and staff; Bethlehem community members; and even from President Farrington, who braved the rain to show his support. Various community vendors donated food including Deja Brew, Campus Pizza, Lehigh Pizza, Goosey Gander II, Quizno’s, Sal’s and Jazzman’s.

Kappa Alpha and Delta Gamma hold work auction and raise $900 for charity
Forty five students from Kappa Alpha fraternity and Delta Gamma Sorority recently raised $900 for Service for Sight which benefits the blind and to an orphanage in Cape Coast, Ghana which focuses on children inflicted with AIDS. To read more, please visit the Brown and White’s website
Alpha Chi Omega Illuminates the Hill
