German photo editor to speak at Zoellner gallery
Ute Noll, the picture editor of the Frankfurter Rundschau Magazin, the award-winning weekend supplement of the national daily newspaper of Frankfurt, Germany, will speak on “Current Photojournalism and Newspaper Photography” at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28 in the Zoellner Arts Center Main Gallery.
Noll’s talk, which is free and open to the public, is co-sponsored by the Lehigh University Department of Journalism and Communication, ArtsLehigh and Lehigh University Art Galleries.
In her professional role, Noll focuses on emerging and established artists working mainly in color photography and is known for cutting-edge imagery that combines editorial and political issues with art projects.
She is also an independent curator who has been a member of several international juries and is regularly invited to international photo-festivals.
