George J. DuPaul Appointed Associate Dean for Research in College of Education
George J. DuPaul, professor of school psychology, has been appointed as the associate dean for research in Lehigh’s College of Education. In his new role, he will be responsible for improving the robust research profile of the College of Education by supporting faculty and students to engage in important scholarly activity that directly impacts the practice in education and mental health services.
DuPaul joined Lehigh in 1992. During his academic tenure, he has served in administrative roles that included both associate chair and chair of the Department of Education and Human Services as well as director of the school psychology program. He has been principal or co-principal investigator on many federal, state and private foundation research and training grants totaling more than $16 million.
