Dan Frangopol Is Elected to the Royal Academy of Belgium

Dan Frangopol added to the long list of honors and awards that he has received in his career when he was elected recently as a Foreign Member of the Royal Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts.

Frangopol, the Fazlur Rahman Khan Chair of Structural Engineering and Architecture at Lehigh, will help the Royal Academy's Technical Sciences class expand into sustainability and infrastructure resilience – two areas in which his research and expertise are internationally recognized.
