Council for Equity and Community announces special town hall meeting
The Council for Equity and Community (CEC) will host a special town hall meeting at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the Perella Auditorium in Rauch Business Center. The purpose of the open forum is to discuss recent reports of racist and hateful comments on campus in the aftermath of the presidential election.
CEC co-chairs Carolina Hernandez and Michael Raposa urge faculty, staff, and students to bring their questions, concerns, and ideas to the meeting. They stress that the CEC is both eager to listen and firmly committed to meeting the challenges that face our campus. President Alice P. Gast and campus leaders also will attend the forum.
If you will not be able to attend the meeting but would like to submit a question to the CEC in advance, please send an e-mail to dac208@lehigh.edu.
Advance registration is not required to attend the town hall. All are welcome.
