COE Dean to begin sabbatical in July
Sally A. White, Ph.D., dean of the College of Education, will begin a sabbatical this July to conduct a special research project for the university.
On her sabbatical, she will study the role of universities and colleges in community economic and social development, and review programs at other universities to identify current best practices for possible application within this region.
Because White’s sabbatical and research will extend into 2008, an interim dean of the College of Education will be announced at an appropriate time.
