Christmas Vespers will brighten holidays Dec. 7
The Christmas Vespers concert is LU Choral Arts' Christmas gift to the community. |
The two Christmas Vespers concerts are free, but seating is limited and early arrival—at least 30-45 minutes before each performance—is recommended.
This is our Christmas present to the community, says Lehigh University Choral Arts director Steven Sametz. Many people tell us that this is the start of their holiday season.”
The Vespers program each year features readings and music to celebrate the season. This year’s theme is a “Time for Peace” and as part of that theme, LU’s Choral Arts will perform Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms in Hebrew for choir, percussion, organ and harp.
