Celebrate Founders Day Friday

Following the ceremony in Packer Church, the Lehigh community is invited to enjoy Founder’s Fest, a celebration featuring food and entertainment at Campus Square.
This year marks the 125th year of the Founder’s Day ceremony, an annual event to honor hundreds of Lehigh leaders, selected for their academic pursuits and leadership accomplishments, including the board of trustees, new deans and faculty in endowed chairs, generous donors, and students. Highlights of the ceremony include memories of benefactor Peter C. Rossin ’48, recognition of donor and dean emeritus Robert D. Stout ‘41G and a special appearance by Asa Packer himself.
Immediately after the ceremony, the celebration moves to Campus Square for Founder’s Fest, where the Lehigh University Bookstore, Pastaficio’s, Jazzman’s and The Cup will offer samples and giveaways. Watch for musical entertainment, caricatures, a fashion show, prizes, and more. The Fest will run from 5 until 7 p.m.
At 7 p.m., Lehigh students will enjoy the second annual Mystery Dinner Theatre, a fun and entertaining dining experience. Tickets are on sale at the Lehigh Bookstore for $10 apiece ($6 with a meal plan). Last season’s event sold out, so get your tickets today.
