Arup SenGupta Authors New Book on Ion Exchange

Arup K. SenGupta, the P.C. Rossin Professor in the departments of civil and environmental engineering and of chemical and biomolecular engineering, is the author of Ion Exchange in Environmental Processes: Fundamentals, Applications and Sustainable Technology, a book published in September by John Wiley & Sons Inc.

SenGupta heads an international effort to develop sustainable treatment systems that provide arsenic- and fluoride-safe drinking water to people all over the world. He has co-founded three societal enterprises to address global water-related issues through sustainable innovations: Tagore-SenGupta Foundation, Technology with a Human Face, and DrinkWell.
