Commission on Residential Environment (CORE) issues final report

In the spring of 2014, Lehigh created the Commission on Residential Environment (CORE) to explore the various ways the university might improve the student living experience at Lehigh.

In total, the more than 60 individuals who served on CORE—including faculty, staff and students—worked over the course of a year to examine eight specific topics related to residential life at Lehigh. The work has culminated with six recommendations for the university leadership to consider. The group’s full report can be read online here.

The university welcomes members of the campus community to offer their feedback on the report. Comments can be posted to an online forum at the CORE report site or emailed to corereport@lehigh.edu.

Additionally, in the months to come, the university will be convening town hall events to encourage dialogue around this report.

More information will be shared at the start of the upcoming academic year.
