A message to students regarding weekend storm

A message to students from Residential Services regarding residence halls

As you may have heard, a snowstorm is predicted to hit the northeast sometime late Friday into Saturday. With this in mind, we have decided to open all university residences on Friday, Jan. 22, at 9 a.m. in an effort to ensure the safe travel of all our residents. All students are permitted to be in their campus residences as of 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and all card access will be active at that time.

The storm is predicted to arrive Friday evening and last through late Saturday. With this in mind, we would ask that if it is at all possible, you avoid arriving to campus on Saturday, both to ensure your safety and to allow our snow-removal crews time to clear the snow. If this is unavoidable, please use extreme caution in traveling to campus.
