In observance of World Breastfeeding Week, inaugural College of Health Dean Whitney Witt co-authored a blog post on the effects of involuntary border separations of breastfeeding mothers and their children.

The blog post, co-written with colleagues of the American Public Health Association, addresses the short-and long-term physical, emotional and economic consequences of abruptly discontinuing lactation.
